FAQ

What counts as one message?

Every time you send a prompt and the AI replies, that's one message. Dawbrain's own internal tool-use steps don't count against your quota, only the turns you initiate.

Which DAWs are supported?

Ableton Live 12 on macOS and Windows. Cross-DAW support (Logic Pro, FL Studio, Cubase) is planned but not live yet.

Is my session data private?

Session context is sent to Anthropic for each request to generate the response. It isn't used to train AI models; Anthropic's API terms forbid that by default. See our privacy policy for full details.

Do you train on my conversations?

No. Not us, and not Anthropic under our API plan.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Paid subscriptions cancel at the end of the current billing period.

What happens when I hit my monthly limit?

You'll see a warning in the chat when you're close, and a hard stop once you reach the limit. Limits reset at the start of each billing cycle.
